Job Description:
At Pincroft we export to more than 80 countries and have an annual production capacity of over 50 million metres – finishing a diverse range of fabrics suitable for applications across all industry sectors.

Our team of textile experts, state-of-the-art machinery and excellent testing facilities are the perfect combination to ensure the highest quality and performance of our fabrics.

The key factor in our success is our 130-year experience as commission textile dyers as well as the concentration of investment in areas of the business that result in greater efficiencies for customers. For example, as part of an ongoing programme at our UK dyehouse we now have the largest heat recovery system of its type in the world.

To further continue our planned growth and support our vision for the future, we are looking to recruit apprentices into the business to work alongside our highly skilled workforce and develop into engineers of the future. Pincroft Dyeing & Printing Co Ltd strongly believe in training and further development of staff. The successful candidates will receive a robust training plan within the business, this will be enhanced through a 4-year apprenticeship delivered by Alliance Learning.

Through your apprenticeship you will gain the skills and knowledge of reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across all equipment and facilities at our site. The successful candidate will work closely with our in-house maintenance team to develop a robust understanding of machinery and equipment and enhance their knowledge of all aspects of maintenance.
You will work from drawings and manuals, along with developing the ability to fault find and diagnose faults and work efficiently and effectively to overcome these to ensure downtime is minimised.
Undertake a development programme through a robust 4-year apprenticeship. Actively participate in your own development agreed with your line manager and assessor from the training provider. You will also be provided with a mentor within Pincroft Dyeing & Printing Co Ltd and rotated through each of our departments to get a full understanding of the business.

PLEASE NOTE: The Engineering intake will start in September with interviews planned in after May 2024 - This apprenticeship will delivered by Alliance Learning in Horwich, Bolton and will start in September. Please not that for the first year, you will spend 4 days a week at Alliance Learning
