Course Overview (Benefits) This course enables contract personnel to satisfy the need for high standards in Health & Safety training in the food & drink industry. The Food & Drink Safety Passport Scheme, accredited by the SPA is a way of only accepting personnel who hold this Safety Passport. Successful completion of the course results in delegates being issued with an identification passport, which is valid for 3 years. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive. The course aim is to: - Reduce time spent on the induction of contractors on site - Provides assurance on levels of contractor health & safety awareness - Ensure all contractors are working to best practice - Improve job prospects and increase competitiveness through the use of certified personnel
Course Requirements Each delegate is required to bring with them the following: National Insurance Number, date of birth and current SPA Core Card.

Assessment and Certification At the end of the each module throughout the course, delegates will complete short multiple choice assessments. Upon successful completion, delegates will be awarded with a SPA Food & Drink passport, valid for three years.
