Knowledge of geometry and technical drawing, good observation of safety and manual handling, general engineering interest would be of an advantage.

Job Description:
Microsystems UK are widely acknowledged as one of the most technically advanced medical mould making facilities in Europe.
We also have considerable experience in the design, manufacture, FAT and validation for the medical, pharmaceutical and ophthalmic markets.
Working in a highly clean, temperature controlled facility we are able to take any project from concept to full production.

We have an exciting opportunity for two new apprentices to join our team and start your career as an Engineer.

The successful candidate will develop their skills and hands on experience to assemble and service ultra-precision injection mould dies with very tight tolerances +/-1mm.
Turning and high precision griding skills will be developed and you will learn and develop using both CNC machines and milling machines.
Grinding will include external, internal and form.
Duties will include:
Assembly and fitting.
Use of CNC machines – milling, turning, produce, prove and edit programmes. Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
Follow health and safety at all times.
