Thank you for the opportunity to attend. As a new starter, it was a really enjoyable and useful event and gave me a good insight into apprenticeships.

- Debra Simpson

Really worthwhile event, allowing me to have a broader picture of AL and what you are about. Great networking event also. Thank you!

- Sam Aspen

Great - the event was a perfect length, some of these events are too lengthy so off putting to attend as takes up too much of school day. Thanks for inviting us

Brilliant, informative morning. Good to hear about the support AL give to students on the apprenticeship route. I hope we can continue to work even more closely in the future!

The event was really useful - and great to look around. It helps now when I'm talking to students to describe the facilities and so on.

- Patricia Berry

(Careers Leader, Parklands High School)

The Apprenticeship Coffee Morning was really good to see the facilities you had at your base, and this is something I will take to our engineering teacher to promote.

"On behalf of the students and staff at Winstanley Sixth Form College, I want to thank you for giving your time to represent Alliance Learning at our Careers and Apprenticeship Fair once again. Reading the early replies to the questionnaire we sent to students, every questionnaire received greatly values the opportunity to speak directly with employers and training providers about possible options and opportunities. They comment on the friendliness they experienced and of the valuable information they discovered from representatives present. Students are aware the information and advice provided will contribute very significantly to the decisions they will eventually make. We hope to invite you to future events!"

- Chris Jolliffe

(Careers & Employment Engagement Advisor, Winstanley College)

"We are very pleased to have a great working relationship with Alliance Learning to ensure that our students gain valuable insights into apprenticeships. Alliance Learning are always willing to support Westhoughton High School and our learners at various points of the year giving support and promoting the opportunities that they offer school leavers. Alliance Learning attend many of our post-16 school events connecting with high volumes of students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the benefits of apprenticeships as a post-16 pathway."

- Chris Dignam

(Assistant Headteacher, Westhoughton High School)

"Alliance Learning have supported the school for a number of events this year. By the end of this term alone they will have completed an assembly for Year 11, a speed networking event and a student and parent expectation evening. Alliance Learning provides an exceptional service for us and always respond to our request for support promptly. Staff are friendly, approachable, reliable and extremely professional. Your support and services are much appreciated."

-Jill Issacs

"Alliance Learning are a wonderful organisation providing excellent support to our students on their personal journeys towards the world of work. They support the school in a number of different ways, from presentations to careers fairs to bespoke workshops. Recently, Alliance Learning have assisted us with our Year 11 Mock Interviews, National Apprenticeship Week presentations and in the near future workshops for our Business Studies students. By doing this, Alliance Learning have assisted us with raising the profile of Apprenticeships as an option for post 16 / post 18. The School and Community Engagement Advisor from Alliance Learning is friendly, professional and reliable. She is always willing to help and offers excellent support to our careers team here in school. Thank you and we look forward to being able to continue to build on the relationship between Alliance Learning and school."

- Samantha Aspen

(Careers and Work Experience Advisor, Rivington & Blackrod High School)

"Thanks so much for taking the time to come into school to see our Year 10 and 11s. The information you gave them on Alliance Learning and Apprenticeships was really informative and delivered in a way that inspired our learners to want to find out more. I will certainly be encouraging our students to come to your open days to see for themselves the great opportunities you have to offer."

- Sula Roberts

(Careers Advisor, Parks Teaching Service)

"Rebecca attended a careers fair at college in September. She was professional, organised and engaged well with students. Both her and her predecessor James have been extremely supportive and attended many events at Holy Cross to ensure students are aware of alternative options to university."

(Careers Team, Holy Cross College)

"I have the pleasure in providing a Testimonial for Alliance Learning, and how they have linked with ESSA Academy to support our students on their journey towards the world of work. Over a number of years, Alliance Learning have attended a range of careers events, held at the ESSA Academy. These range from careers fairs to our Academic Review Days, where parents are encouraged to find out more about opportunities that our open to their child for the future. Our CEIAG plan includes all year groups being involved in careers activities and raising the profile of CEIAG from Year 7 though to Year 11, and the impact being to raise aspirations, raise attainment and achievement. By taking part in these CEIAG activities Alliance Learning have helped us to raise the profile of Apprenticeships as a viable option for our students. I can always depend on Alliance Learning to be part of our activities, and I will continue to do so for the future. I am sure we can look at other areas we can share to give students information to support their choices. On a personal note, I have valued the support and guidance of Alliance Learning. As a parent of two sons who both were successful in completing their Engineering Apprenticeships through Alliance Learning and they have both gone on to have successful careers within the Engineering sector. One son works for as a Maintenance Engineer and has been at his company from leaving school at the age of 16. He is now in his late 20’s, and is a valuable member of his company’s Maintenance Team with more responsibility. My other son, originally worked for a company in Bolton from the age of 16, and successfully completed his degree after finishing his apprenticeship. He is now in his early 30’s, works for a well-known car manufacturing company as an Automotive Engineer and has used the technical skills he has learned, to become a helicopter pilot in his spare time. I cannot thank Alliance Learning enough for all the support that they gave and I would highly recommend them as an excellent training provider. I would like this testimonial to reflect a perspective from a CEIAG registered professional, and also as a parent. I will look forward to continuing to work with Alliance Learning in the future."
