CEIAG Sessions
Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) sessions are designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to take your next step into an apprenticeship or employment.
You will be invited to attend a session after applying for an apprenticeship, where our expereiced recruitment team will support you with:
- Understanding apprenticeship pathways and career routes
- Writing or improving your CV
- Develop interviews techniques and skills
- Exploring live apprenticeship vacancies
- Identify your strengths and areas for development

During your session, you will:
- Recieve impartial careers information and guidance
- Learn about different progression routes and opportunities
- Complete a short maths and English assessment, to identify support needs
- Get 1:1 support with your CV and applications
- Support with mock interviews to build confidence

Advice for Parents and Carers
We understand that parents and carers play a vital role in supporting young people's career choices.
• Industry Qualifications
- NVQ / Diploma (competency based, workplace assessed)
- BTEC (knowledge based)
- Apprenticeship standard in specific industry
• Essential Skills
- Functional skills in English and maths (if required)
- End Point Assessment (EPA): a final assessment to demonstrate knowledge, skills and behaviours, leading to a nationally recognised certificate from the Institute for Apprenticeships
• Tracking Progress
We use Onefile, an online e-portfolio system to track progress throughout the apprenticeships. Parents and Carers can/will:
- Speak to Work Based Tutor
- Monitor progress nad performance
- Newsletters
• Employment Outcomes
- 90% of apprentices progress into employment or further study
- Many apprentices remain with their employer
- 32% recieve a promotion within 12 months
• Pay & Financial Information
- Apprentices are paid at least the Apprenticeship National minimum wage
