Course Overview (Benefits) This course enables contract personnel to satisfy the need for high standards in Health & Safety training in the food & drink industry. The Food & Drink Safety Passport Scheme, accredited by the SPA is a way of only accepting personnel who hold this Safety Passport. Successful completion of the course results in delegates being issued with an identification passport, which is valid for 3 years. This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive. The course aim is to: - Reduce time spent on the induction of contractors on site - Provides assurance on levels of contractor health & safety awareness - Ensure all contractors are working to best practice - Improve job prospects and increase competitiveness through the use of certified personnel
Course Requirements Candidates need to have a basic understanding of the English language. Attendees must bring with them their National Insurance Number. If candidates require any special learning support please speak to the tutor on arrival.
