On Thursday 12th February 2026, Alliance Learning proudly opened its doors to welcome prospective learners, families, partners, and friends from the community — and what an evening it turned out to be!

From the moment guests arrived, there was a real buzz in the air. The building quickly filled with conversation, curiosity, and excitement as visitors explored our facilities and discovered more about what makes Alliance Learning such a special place to learn and grow.

Our team and apprentices were on hand to greet everyone with a smile, guide tours, and share their experiences. It was wonderful to see so many meaningful conversations happening — whether that was about career pathways, apprenticeships, or simply what day-to-day life looks like here.

Throughout the evening, classrooms and workshop spaces came alive with demonstrations, displays, and activities. Visitors had the chance to:

• Explore our learning environments
• Meet tutors and support staff
• See student projects and practical work
• Ask questions and get tailored advice
• Experience first-hand what training with us is really like

Seeing people getting stuck in, trying things out, and picturing themselves here is always the best part of an Open Evening.

We were also delighted to be joined by some fantastic industry partners who generously gave their time to exhibit and speak with our visitors. A huge thank you to Howorth Air Tech, Pure Fabs, and SIAS for coming along and showcasing their work.

Their presence added real value to the evening, giving guests insight into the exciting opportunities and career routes available within industry. We’re incredibly grateful for their continued support and partnership.

What stood out most was the atmosphere — welcoming, positive, and full of enthusiasm. Events like this truly highlight the strength of our community and the shared commitment to helping learners succeed.
