Spreading Easter Cheer: Collecting Easter Eggs for BackUp North West

At Alliance Learning, we are always looking for ways to give back to our community — and this Easter, we were proud to support our chosen charity, BackUp North West.

Throughout March, our team and apprentices  came together to collect Easter eggs to help bring a little extra joy to the young people supported by BackUp. BackUp North West does incredible work providing safe accommodation and support for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Bolton and the surrounding areas.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we were able to collect a fantastic number of Easter eggs, which we were proud to donate to the charity just in time for the Easter celebrations.

This initiative also supports the 'Give' element of our apprentices' professional development. Encouraging our apprentices to engage in charitable activities helps develop their sense of social responsibility, strengthens their community awareness, and contributes to their wider personal growth outside of the workplace. It’s a vital part of building well-rounded individuals ready for the future.

We believe in the importance of giving back, showing kindness, and creating positive opportunities wherever we can — whether that’s through training, apprenticeships, or community support.

Our Professional Development Lead, Megan, and our Marketing Coordinator, Jenny, delivered our collection to BackUp NorthWest, where the team were thrilled to receive our donation.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Easter collection — your donations helped make Easter a little bit brighter for those who need it most.

We look forward to continuing our support for BackUp North West throughout the year and making an even bigger difference together!
