 Cameron Barlow from Silcom's has received his Institute of Apprenticeship certificate from his tutor Barry Frazer. Cameron passed his end point assessment for his Engineering Technician Apprenticeship ( Advanced Machinist Pathway) with a pass grade – the maximum grade for this Apprenticeship is a pass. Cameron is our first engineer at Alliance Learning to go through end-point assessment.

After completing his end point assessment, Cameron had these words to say:

“Since doing the Apprenticeship, I have become more confident, not only with work skills but socialsing, I put this down to participating in open discussions we have had about jobs. I have a range of responsibilities at work including: machining-CNC, manual grinding, coolant check, First Aider responsibilities, checking components and general cleaning of work areas.”
