BD Structures | Fabrication and Welder Apprenticeship About the company: BD Structures are a Steelwork Subcontractor that has a very good and well established client base. Based in Westhoughton we are passionate about steelwork and have a dedicated team with the experience, knowledge and equipment to produce steelwork for various types of structures.. Working out of the factory in Westhoughton your duties will include: • Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements • Reading of Technical Drawings • Fabrication of Structural Steelwork • Welding of Structural Steelwork • Ensuring all workmanship is carried out the highest quality • Learning of the correct fabrication techniques including: marking out, use of drills, guillotines and CNC machines • Learn how to operate Over Head Cranes safely. You will be studying towards your Level 3 Metal Fabricator on a one day release starting September 2022 |
