Fabrication & Welding Apprentice | Booth Industries
The company specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of high integrity steel doors ranging from personnel access sized doors up to aircraft hangar-sized doors, all of which are manufactured in-house by Booth’s experienced fabrication and welding operatives.
A craft apprenticeship is offered within the Manufacturing Workshops of Booth Industries Limited based in Bolton. The successful candidate will work alongside the manufacturing operatives and will be trained to undertake the various duties associated with the manufacture of structural steelwork and sheet metal assemblies.
Duties will include:
• Marking out of components
• Reading of drawings
• Use of hand fitting tools and techniques.
• Identify different items for manufacturing.
• Follow all aspects of Health and Safety.
Our Engineering intake happens twice a year September and February / March, with this in mind we will be cutting off applications for our September 2021 intake on Friday 27th August 2021. Please note if you apply after this date, you may not be contacted for your IAG Session until our next intake in early 2022. This is due to a high volume of applications for this year’s intake.
