Hands on practical person – able to demonstrate a genuine interest in engineering, making things and how things are made.
A basic mechanical knowledge and an ability to use hand tools an advantage.

Apprentice mechanical engineer to learn all aspects of engineering, this will include milling, turning, gear cutting, grinding and fitting. The successful applicant will work alongside skilled engineers to develop their skills in the workplace and this will be complemented through attending Alliance Learning to develop the skills required and national recognised qualifications through a 3 year apprenticeship.

Training in the use of Modern CNC equipment covering the main disciplines: Grinding, Milling & Turning
Training in the use of advanced CAD CAM Software and Inspection Techniques
Training in the use of hand tools and assembly techniques
