Numerate – good with numbers and arithmetic.
Analytical – able to work methodically
Good standard of written English.
A willingness to have a go at various office based duties, keen to learn, happy to ask questions with a keenness to be involved in the business.
To have an organised and confident approach to dealing with their workload, and in dealing with people both face to face and on the phone.
Able to work with limited supervision, and use initiative, and knowing when to seek advice as appropriate
A track record of high levels of attendance and punctuality.
Committed to the completion of the apprenticeship
Professional telephone manner
Self starter with an organised approach to their work, and able to see a task through to its conclusion.
Working knowledge of Office apps, in particular Excel and Word.
Reception – answering telephone calls, taking messages and redirecting as appropriate
Greeting and directing visitors.
Distribute incoming post. Packing and arranging collection of outgoing post.
Liaise with customers over the phone to manage relationships.
Sending and replying to emails.
Carry out administration behind negotiations of our products with new and existing clients.
Preparing other documents by printing, copying, and scanning, as well as filing in the correct place.
Helping to maintain Service Level Agreements with existing clients
Carry out research on potential new clients.
Assist with accepting new stock and packing and storing away appropriately, and logging via company systems.
Listing stock items on auction sites, photographing, researching best prices and dispatching sales.
Assist the support staff and senior team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
