Job Description:
Established in 1988, Pentre Group is a UK manufacturing success story. Through a series of carefully chosen partnerships and acquisitions we are acknowledged as one of the world’s leading suppliers of drums reels and ancillaries to the global wire and cable industry. We are now looking to recruit a further apprentice to join our maintenance team to develop their skills and understanding of our business and equipment. The successful candidate will work alongside our skilled engineers to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of our equipment. This will be complemented by studying towards a level 3 apprenticeship in engineering maintenance with Alliance Learning. The apprentice will be trained on all health & safety requirements, safe use of tools and equipment and will develop their engineering skills through shadowing and supporting our skilled engineers in reactive and planned maintenance. You will use various equipment within the role such as socket sets, screwdrivers and will also be required the develop skills and understanding of using testing equipment. • Respond to breakdowns with a trained engineer • Perform planned maintenance with engineers • Work on new projects and installations • Electrical maintenance on equipment • Mechanical maintenance on equipment • Ensure production at all times. |
