Kerax is a small business manufacturing blends of oils, waxes, resins and polymers for a diverse range of industrial applications. Our production equipment is looked after by a team of three engineers and an engineering manager. We wish to recruit an apprentice engineer to strengthen our team to accommodate the installation of new manufacturing processes and equipment and as part of our forward planning. The role will cover all aspects of mechanical engineering, welding, machining, fitting and maintenance and also include and electrical / ICT element as our business adopts new manufacturing techniques of PLC process control and robotics.The engineering team at Kerax manage a range of equipment from a 2MW steam generation plant through to electrical and electronic control systems. The candidate must be prepared to work in a very wide spectrum of engineering disciplines.
Please note that you will be required to attend Alliance Learning 1 day a week, as part of a release programme.
