Fabricating/Welding are disciplines which cover a wide range of occupational areas including MIG welding, TIG Welding and MMA Welding.
Fabricators need to be able to interpret engineering drawings, convert them into metal shapes by using a range of powered equipment, such as guillotines, pipe benders, folders or computer controlled plasma cutting equipment.
In many firms a Fabricator will be expected to carry out both fabrication as well as welding work, but you will specialise in Fabrication.
