Ashley Morton’s Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering with Alliance Learning allows him the opportunity to travel around the UK, Ireland and Germany to complete additional training whilst studying towards a HNC in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

David left school 6 years ago and has experienced work in unskilled roles as a packager and a kennel assistant before becoming unemployed. He decided to return to learning so that he could improve his skills to help him get a better job and also because he enjoys learning new things. He chose learndirect on the recommendation of his parents who had already enjoyed learning the online way.

Joseph served for 6 years in the army and then re-trained for civilian life as a heavy goods vehicle driver. He has been involved in the transport industry for 18 years but a developing medical condition meant that he has been unemployed for the last two years. This prompted him to seek new skills in order to change careers once again.
