Information Technology for Beginners
If you’ve never used a computer before, we have the courses to get you started.
A basic introduction to computers will cover all the main topics and explain how all the different functions work. Once you feel more confident, you can progress on to expand your knowledge in different areas e.g. Word processing - learn how to create professional documents: Databases – how to enter, store, sort and retrieve records: Spreadsheets – creating and editing, layout, using a basic calculation formula.
We have attached a link below to one of the most popular courses at this level; 'Using your Computer' so as to give you an example of typical course content at this level but there are many different courses available.
