Awarding Body:
The British Safety Council is one of the world’s leading occupational health, safety and environmental organisations. They work hand in hand with the worlds leading companies, developing safe systems of work.    Course Aim:
To enable delegates to operate a successful safety policy within their own areas of responsibility, being aware of new legislation and the powers of the HSE.  Duration:
1 and a 1/2 days.Target Group:
The course is designed for all supervisors/safety officers and other people responsible for health and safety, to make them aware of their responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act and of other people’s responsibilities that are in direct contact with them at their workplace.Course Content:
• Management Systems
• Hazards & Risks
• Monitoring
• Legal Requirements
A British Safety Council Level 2 Certificate can be obtained by completing an externally verified task based assessment.
If you wish to gain the BSC certificate, you must do the following:
• Apply to British Safety Council awards upon completion of the course
• Undertake an externally verified assessment
• Receive nationally recognised certificate on successful completion of the assessmentCourse Benefits:

• A nationally recognised transferable qualification
