Fork Lift Truck Instructor (RTITB)
Accrediting Body:
The RTITB is an independent and impartial training accreditation body working extensively in the road haulage and distribution industry. When organisations purchase RTITB accredited or approved training they can be assured that it has been independently monitored and that it will meet specified objectives.
Course Aim:
To enable companies to have their own Fork Lift Truck Instructor, who is able to train and examine operators on company premises. The course complies with the approved code of practice issued by the Health & Safety Commission.
Duration:
10 Days.
Target Group:
The employer should carefully select the correct person for the job as instructor. They should be literate and numerate with good presentation skills. The R.T.I.T.B recommend that candidates have a minimum of 12 months operating experience before attending the course. At the end of the course the selected person will have to demonstrate their skills to the R.T.I.T.B. Services Examiner.
