Ductwork Installation NVQ Level 2 & 3
Awarding Body:
EMTA Awards Limited (EAL) is a leading UK awarding body for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs) in the Engineering and Technology sector.
Approximately 12 months per qualification.
Target Group:
People that are seeking recognition of their competence in one or more of a wide range of activities. The course offers maximum flexibility to meet the needs of semi-skilled and skilled workers engaged in ductwork installation.
Course Content:
NVQ Level 2: 5 Mandatory units
NVQ Level 3: 8 units (6 Mandatory Units, 2 Optional)
NVQ level 2 (5 mandatory units):
• Maintain the safe working environment for HVACR activities
• Maintain effective working relationships
• Contribute to the improvement of business products and services for HVACR work activities
• Install heating and ventilating systems and components
• Pre-commission and decommission heating and ventilating systems
NVQ Level 3 (8 units): 6 Mandatory Units:
• Maintain the safe working environment for HVACR activities
• Maintain effective working relationships
• Contribute to the improvement of business products and services for HVACR work activities
• Plan heating and ventilating work activities
• Install complex heating and ventilating systems and components
• Commission and decommission heating and ventilating systems
2 Optional Units: Delegates choose with guidance, if needed 2 additional units that are suitable for their working environment.
Visits:
Delegates will receive approximately 8-10 visits from an in-house assessor.
Price:
Level 2 & 3 may be available FREE OF CHARGE through the Government's Train to Gain initiative, subject to availability and eligibility (contact us for details).
