City & Guilds 2390 - 10 Inspection and Testing of Fixed Installations

This is a 4 day intensive course designed to cover the requirements if BS7671 in respect of inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.Duration
This 4 day intensive course with a 1/2 day additional practical assessment, has also a written examination to be taken on the 4th day ( the examination will normally be in the evening after 6pm).Target Group: (Candidates must be over 18 years old)
This course is aimed at qualified electricians whom have recently completed a c ourse on BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and those who will be involved with inspection. However new entrants to the industry may also be suitable for this course.Course Content:
The 4 day course is mainly theoretical but practical elements will also be covered.
The course includes:-- Statutory and non-statutory regulations.
- Conditions relevant to testing in agricultural, commercial, domestic and industrial installations.
- Safe working practices for the inspection process.
- Appropriate test equipment.
- Identify possible causes of poor tests.
- Recording test results.
- Preparation for assessments.
Candidates who are successful in both the written and the practical elements will achieve the City & Guilds 2391-10.Important Notice
You will need to bring with you the latest edition of IEE's Guidance Note Three and preferably a copy of BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
