Level 2 for Fork Lift Truck Operators

Duration:
Approximately 12 months.
Target Group:
Individuals who work with the movement of heavy goods and plant and machinery, who wish to gain a recognised qualification in this area.
Course Content:
To gain the full NVQ candidates have to achieve all 4 mandatory units.
• Conform to General Workplace Safety
• Conform to Efficient Work Practices
• Prepare Plant or Machinery for Operational Performance
• Operate Plant or Machinery to Lift and Transfer Loads
Additional Units:
These units are not required to acheive a full NVQ:
• Move and Handle Resources
• Slinging and Signalling the Movement of Loads
