Awarding Body:

EMTA Awards Limited (EAL) is a leading UK awarding body for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs) in the Engineering and Technology sector.

Approximately 12 months.

Target Group:

Employees that are seeking recognition of their competence in one or more of a wide range of activities. The course offers maximum flexibility to meet the needs of semi-skilled and skilled workers engaged in engineering maintenance and installation.

Course Content:

Delegates must complete 3 mandatory units plus 3-5 additional units dependent upon the pathway chosen.

Mandatory Units:
• Working Safely in an Engineering Environment
• Working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering
• Using and Communicating Technical Information

Pathway Options:
• Engineering Practices
• Technical Support

Visits:

Delegates will receive approximately 8 – 10 visits from an in-house assessor.
