Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
NVQ (Level 2 & 3)

Awarding Body:
EMTA Awards Limited (EAL) is a leading UK awarding body for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs) in the Engineering and Technology sector.
Duration:
Approximately 12 months per qualification.
Target Group:
Employees that are seeking recognition of their competence in one or more of a wide range of activities. The course offers maximum flexibility to meet the needs of semi-skilled and skilled workers engaged in mechanical manufacturing.
Course Content:
NVQ level 2: 4-5 units dependant on the pathway chosen. One of the following options can be selected;
Pathway Options:
• Machine Operating
• NC/CNC Machine Operating
• Production Assembly
• Composite Manufacture
• Optical Engineering
NVQ Level 3: 5-6 units dependent on the pathway chosen. One of the following options can be selected;
Pathway Options:
•Machining
•NC/CNC Machining
•Machine Tool Setting
•Fitting and Assembly
•Pipe Fitting and Assembly
•Optical Engineering
•Composite Manufacturing/Polymer Engineering
Visits:
Delegates will receive approximately 8-10 visits from an in-house assessor.

Level 2 & 3 may be available FREE OF CHARGE through the Government's Train to Gain initiative, subject to availability and eligibility (contact us for details).
