Instructor for Mobile Access Platforms (IPAF) Training
Accrediting Body:
IPAF - International Powered Access Federation.
Course Aim:
To train and assess an instructor to understand the working of the IPAF training programme and assess their knowledge on both the machines and their ability to convey information to candidates. The successful completion of which when combined with evidence would lead to an IPAF instructors' licence.
Duration:
5 Days
Target Group:
Candidates should be physically fit, in good health and should generally not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights etc.
Candidates must have: 36 months MEWP operating experience, IPAF Operator PAL card held for 6 months minimum, IPAF demonstrator PAL card held for 3 months minimum, evidence of acceptable Instructional Techniques training, harness instructor training and first aid training to appointed person level.
