ILM Diploma in First Line Management


Awarding Body:
The Institute of Leadership & Management (‘ILM’) is the premier awarding body for management training, which aims to build leadership and management at the individual, team and organisational levels. Course Aim:
To give practicing first line managers the widest choice for their formal development in this role by developing a very wide range of management skills and assisting delegates in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a first line manager. Duration:
Tutor Led: 1 day per week for 40 weeks.
Blended Learning: To suit the learner. Target Group:
For practicing first line managers. Course Content:
Businesses can custom build a bespoke course, choosing units that meet the specific needs of their leadership and management teams.
Not only this but training can also be delivered through a variety of blended learning methods: Tutor led, e-learning and distance learning. Alternatively delegates can enrol on one of our scheduled courses. Each option requires mandatory units to be completed.

• Understanding Change in the Workplace
• Planning Change in the Workplace
• Solving Problems and Making Decisions
• Writing for Business
• Managing Customer Service
• Obtaining Information for Effective Management

• Providing Quality to Customers
• Working with Costs and Budgets
• Motivating to Perform in the Workplace
• Managing Stress in the Workplace
