Awarding Body:

EMTA Awards Limited (EAL) is a leading UK awarding body for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs) in the Engineering and Technology sector. On completion of the course, delegates will receive an EAL unit of competence.

Course Aim:

This course is designed to equip the Mechanical/Electrical fitter o rmaintenance person with a basic working knowledge and practical experience of combined Hydraulics and Pneumatics.

Duration:

5 Days.

Target Group:

This course is designed for delegates with no previous experience.

Course Content:

• Safety Procedures
• Introduction to CETOP (BS2917) symbols
• Hydraulic/Pneumatic circuits
• Testing of circuits
• Instruction in basic fault finding and maintenance
• Course review and evaluation

As an alternative, NVQ Units can be undertaken. Each unit would last 5 days.
