As a Centre of Vocational Excellence for Fabrication and Welding, Alliance Learning is in an excellent position to deliver the Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship programmes.

Apprenticeships in this area involve working from Engineering drawings to measure and mark out thick/thin plate material to fabricate a range of components, from steel gates to stadium structures to suit customer’s needs. It may also involve working in factories or construction sites assembling and erecting steel structures.
Apprentices will learn how to weld sections and components using: MMA – Manual Metal Arc, MAGS – Metal Arc Gas Shielded, TAGS – Tungsten Arc Gas Shielded.
