Changes to First Aid Courses from October 2009
The HSE is making changes to First Aid courses, beginning in October 2009. These will include replacing the 4-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course with a new 3-day course. The 1-day Appointed Persons qualification will be replaced with a new HSE approved one called Emergency First Aid at work (EFAW). There will also be a new assessment of First Aid needs in the workplace.
