When did Alliance Learning gain this Accreditation?
Alliance Learning successfully gained the NPORS accreditation in January 2009.
What is NPORS?
The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme was formed in 1992, they have accredited over 1000 instructors and training providers who operate on national and international projects. During this time they have worked hard to ensure that appropriate training and assessments are being delivered to employers in the Construction, Utilities, Distribution and Warehousing, Ports and Marine, Rail and Agricultural Sectors. NPORS have currently registered over 160,000 operators who have been employed across all UK industry sectors. NPORS has been an Accredited Body recognised by HSE since 1999.
What is the main objective of NPORS?
The main objective of NPORS is to allow NPORS Accredited Training Providers a flexible approach to meet the needs of the employer to help and assist in providing an adequately trained workforce within the UK.
