Alliance Learning Annual Awards Evening





North West apprentices and business course learners were commended for their hard work and dedication at the 20th Annual Alliance Learning Awards Evening.
The prestigious awards ceremony was this year hosted by Alliance Learning Chiefexecutive Steve Whitehead who took time to applaud all 500 learners who completedtraining courses in the last 12 months and made it very difficult for the judges to just a handful of winners in the 13 categories.
Winners on the evening included:

Lisa Marie Fry, 35 from Bolton - Childcare Apprentice of the Year
Joni Bramwell, 48 from Wigan - Health & Social Care Adult Learner of the Year
Tom Eckersley, 22 from Ormskirk - Fabrication & Welding Apprentice of the Year
Daniel Johnson, 23 from Bolton - Mechanical Engineering Apprentice of the Year
Ashley Morton, 22 from Tyldsley - Electrical Engineering Apprentice of the Year
James Wilkinson, 17 from Leigh - Technical Engineering Apprentice of the Year
Ian Gornall, 49 from Atherton - E-Learning Award Winner
Thomas Patterson, 15 from Radcliffe - Engineering Academy student of the Year
Kareana Duffy, 16 from Radcliffe - Childcare Academy student of the Year
Hocus Pocus Nursery - Company Award for Training and Development
Ashley Morton, 22 from Tyldsley - Overall Apprentice of the Year for 2011
Pat Ashall, 48 from Bolton - Alliance Learning Jane Starr Employee of the Year 2011
At the end of the event Steve extended a special thank you to the evening’s main sponsor MBDA UK Ltd who provided the venue for the awards evening. He also thanked SCA Hygiene Products Ltd who sponsored the Mechanical Engineering Apprentice Award, along with local companies who donated raffle prizes which raised £200.00 for Bolton Hospice.
